Job summary

United Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Accounting Specialist to follow up on problem unpaid accounts and facilitate payments from third-party payers. The role analyzes self-pay accounts before final collection activities, within the UHS Revenue Cycle Operations team in the Patient Accounting department.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent 5 years experience in hospital third‑party billing and related practice
• A thorough working knowledge of Patient Accounting billing practices Wworking knowledge of the financial software system.
• Formal education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field.
