Job summary

Ellipsis Health Inc. is seeking a VP Payer Sales to drive growth across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial payer and PBM segments.

You will build and manage the pipeline, engage executive stakeholders, and collaborate on market opportunities with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid SF Bay Area setting. The role emphasizes consultative sales, strategic leadership, and a startup‑driven mindset in a health tech environment, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in healthcare BD with direct and indirect channels.
• Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Proven track record closing deals with payers and engaging exec stakeholders.
• Action‑oriented leader thriving in a high‑growth startup environment.
• History executing complex healthcare deals for a range of clients.
• Relationship‑oriented leader and collaborative teammate.
• Able to navigate a rapidly changing startup landscape.

Responsibilities

• Increase the customer base and top‑line growth for the business.
• Generate new business and sales leads via lead generation, networking, marketing campaign follow‑up, and inbound inquiries.
• Support and drive RFPs for health plans.
• Understand target customer’s business needs and develop customized proposals and pitch materials.
• Initiate, develop, and maintain strong executive and decision‑maker‑level relationships.
• Support operational and strategic efforts to build and grow the business across the health plan and PBM marketplace.
• Work closely with sales, product, clinical, and client success teams, building internal relationships to support sales pursuits.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Ellipsis Health’s technology and go‑to‑market approach.
• Ensure a long‑term competitive edge through a value‑added approach to prospects and customers.
• Understand key and emerging market segments and refine positioning as needed.
