Job summary

Color is seeking a Billing Implementation Specialist to manage payer onboarding and billing implementations from kickoff to go-live. You will collaborate with payer representatives, Customer Success, Revenue Cycle, and Product teams to ensure billing workflows launch smoothly and playbooks optimize performance.

You’ll be the expert on Color’s standard billing process, guiding partners through requirements, answering questions, and escalating only complex scenarios.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in revenue cycle management, payer relations, or billing operations.
• Experience with ASOs/TPAs or health plan partnerships preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end billing implementations for new payer and health plan launches, from kickoff through go-live.
• Guide payers through standard billing implementation processes, meetings, setup, testing, and milestones.
• Own timelines by tracking progress and escalating risks or blockers as needed.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful billing operations.
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for payer billing and partner with Customer Success Managers.
• Track billing KPIs and configure billings integrations with major networks.
