Job summary

Color is seeking a Billing Implementation Specialist to serve as the primary operational contact for payer onboarding and billing implementation. You will coordinate end-to-end onboarding, guide payers through the process, and ensure milestones are met while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.

This role requires managing multiple implementations, building relationships with payer contacts, and ensuring accurate and efficient billing setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in revenue cycle, payer relations or billing operations.
• Experience with ASOs/TPAs or health plan partnerships preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
• Understanding of CPT/HCPCS codes and claim lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end billing implementations for new payer launches.
• Guide payers through Color's billing implementation process and milestones.
• Own timelines, track progress, and escalate risks or blockers as needed.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for consistent billing practices.
• Track billing KPIs and performance metrics.
• Configure billing integrations with major payer networks (EDI or API).
• Troubleshoot billing data and eligibility issues with internal teams.
