Job summary

The Epilepsy Center in Ohio is seeking a Payee Specialist to manage financial accounts for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This full-time role offers a predictable weekday schedule and a starting rate of $18 per hour.

You will handle client payments, budgeting support, confidential record-keeping, and reporting, working closely with clients, families, and staff to promote financial stability and smooth office operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience.
  • Successfully complete background check.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-focused.
  • Patient and professional with strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and learning new systems.
  • Able to juggle multiple responsibilities while staying calm and focused.

Responsibilities

  • Managing client financial accounts with care and accuracy.
  • Coordinating timely payments and assisting with budgeting.
  • Communicating directly with clients and family members.
  • Keeping clear, confidential records and preparing reports.

Our Payee Department is currently seeking a full-time Payee Specialist to manage the financial accounts for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Are you a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual?

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Starting rate: $18 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities gain financial stability. You’ll be a trusted resource, supporting both clients and staff by:

  • Managing client financial accounts with care and accuracy
  • Coordinating timely payments and assisting with budgeting
  • Communicating directly with clients and family members
  • Keeping clear, confidential records and preparing reports
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient office operations
Qualifications you need to thrive in this role if you are:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience
