Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at a neighborhood location. You will deliver friendly, neighborly service while guiding team members and upholding PSP standards.

The role requires 2+ years in retail, strong sales and customer service skills, and the ability to operate store equipment including a forklift. Flexible scheduling and dependable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate equipment including a forklift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility in scheduling and reliable transportation; must be 18+ and pass drug screening where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing products and provide exceptional neighborly service.
• Greet regular customers (e.g., Bruno the Chihuahua) and their families.
• Reinforce daily store procedures and performance expectations with the team.
• Support store leaders by covering management functions up to four times a week when offsite.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members.
