Job summary

HRI, Inc. is seeking a Paving Roller Operator to safely operate double-drum rollers, coordinating with density technicians and selecting the proper mode, amplitude, and frequency for the mix. You will work with paving crews across multiple sites, meet density and smoothness requirements, and perform end-of-shift maintenance.

This hourly, safety-sensitive role requires attentiveness, the ability to travel to various job sites, and strict adherence to paving safety rules and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must successfully complete PennDOT Flagger Training.
• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate double-drum roller in static or vibratory mode with appropriate amplitude and frequency.
• Communicate with density technician to adjust density and roller pattern.
• Inspect equipment daily and report any deficiencies to Foreman.
• Work with paving crew, travel to multiple sites, and adhere to safety rules.
• Perform end-of-day maintenance and site cleanup.
