Road-Con Inc. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Roller Operator to join our crew in the Southeast Pa region. You will operate a roller to compact asphalt surfaces to required density and a smooth finish, under guidance from the paving team.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Day and night shifts may be available based on project demands, and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an asphalt paving roller.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent and even surface.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work daytime and nighttime shifts based on project demands.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a roller to compact asphalt surfaces to achieve the desired density and smoothness.
• Monitor the compaction process and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality results.
• Work closely with the paving crew to ensure efficient and effective paving operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the roller.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the safety of other employees and the public.
• Work in various environmental conditions, including hot surfaces and uneven terrain.
