Job summary

Warren Cat in Abilene, TX seeks an Application Specialist to serve as the product expert for Cat paving products, including pavers, planers, compactors and reclaimers. This role also performs site assessments using Fleet Production Cost software and CAT Value Simulation Tool (VST).

You will support the sales force during calls, demos and deliveries, assist the service department with paving product setup, lead site assessments, and help identify market opportunities for parts stocking and

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in heavy equipment/paving experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to groups.

Responsibilities

• Represent Warren Cat for Cat and Weiler paving products (pavers, planers, compactors, reclaimers).
• Support sales calls, demos, deliveries, and technical support for paving products.
• Assist service department with paving product deliveries and setup for rental or new sales.
• Lead site assessments and provide Fleet Production Studies (FPC) and VSTs as needed.
• Develop and coordinate Cat product training for customers and Warren salesmen.
• Identify market opportunities with sales management and advise on parts stocking.
