Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Skilled Laborer to contribute to asphalt and concrete projects. The role involves a range of tasks across sites, requiring reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. Night and weekend shifts may be required to meet project schedules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prior construction experience. You will work outdoors on heavy highway and infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment that values safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following safety policies and using tools appropriately.
• Support the construction and paving crew with tasks such as shoveling, raking, material transport, and assisting with truck operations.
• Communicate with equipment operators to coordinate movement and material handling.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Foreman to meet project expectations.
• Operate small power tools as needed, including jack hammers.
• Excavate, distribute, and level construction materials as required for projects.
