Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking general laborers for road construction projects on heavy highway crews and production crews in Alabama. Responsibilities include shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, strips and cleans concrete forms, pours concrete, shovels, vibrates, and maintains good housekeeping and safety regulations.

Prior experience in heavy highway construction preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass required physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, basic math and measurement skills.
• Prior construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting and stripping concrete forms, and pouring concrete.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and safety regulations on the job site.
• Experience around asphalt and equipment operation is beneficial.
