Job summary

Prescott Partners in Bartow County, Georgia, seeks a Project Manager to lead asphalt and concrete paving projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and materials from preconstruction to completion, while monitoring budgets and quality.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans for DOT compliance, negotiating with suppliers, and serving as the main contact for owners, engineers, and inspectors. OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in concrete/asphalt paving or heavy civil construction.
• Working knowledge of paving equipment, mix designs, and grading/drainage principles.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
• Strong OSHA safety standards understanding and DOT specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage concrete and asphalt paving projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries to keep projects on schedule.
• Review plans and specifications for compliance with project requirements and DOT standards.
• Serve as primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and inspectors.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure OSHA safety compliance.
• Track progress, prepare status reports, and manage submittals/RFIs.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Resolve field issues, weather delays, and scheduling conflicts proactively.
