Job summary

Prescott Partners in Bartow County, Georgia, seeks a Project Manager to lead asphalt and concrete paving projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and materials from preconstruction to completion, while monitoring budgets and quality.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans for DOT compliance, negotiating with suppliers, and serving as the main contact for owners, engineers, and inspectors. OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in concrete/asphalt paving or heavy civil construction.
• Working knowledge of paving equipment, mix designs, and grading/drainage principles.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
• Strong OSHA safety standards understanding and DOT specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Well established general contractor construction company located in the Bartow County Georgia area specializes in asphalt and concrete servicing the residential, commercial, and industrial communities is experiencing unprecedented growth and looking to hire a Project Manager.

• Plan, schedule, and manage concrete and asphalt paving projects (parking lots, roadways, site development) from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries to keep projects on schedule
• Review plans, specifications, and mix designs for compliance with project requirements and local/DOT standards
• Serve as primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and inspectors
• Conduct quality control inspections (grading, compaction, thickness, finishing) and ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA)
• Track project progress, prepare status reports, and manage submittals/RFIs
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services
