Job summary

DCPS is seeking an experienced Asphalt and Concrete Project Manager to oversee paving and concrete construction projects from initiation to completion. You will manage crews, subcontractors, budgets, and schedules, and ensure safety and quality on every site.

The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and field teams, and driving project close-out. A civil construction background with proven leadership and communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in asphalt, concrete, or civil construction project management.
• Experience managing multiple paving and/or flatwork projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of asphalt and concrete projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
• Coordinate work between field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor job sites for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate updates to clients and resolve issues.
