Job summary

DCPS in Englewood, CO seeks an experienced Asphalt and Concrete Project Manager to oversee paving and concrete construction from initiation to completion. You will lead crews and subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality across job sites.

The role requires 3–5 years in civil construction project management, fluency with blueprints, and proficiency in MS Project, Procore, Buildertrend, and MS Office. A valid driver’s license is essential and OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in asphalt, concrete, or civil construction project management.
• Experience managing multiple paving and/or flatwork projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of asphalt and concrete projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
• Coordinate work between field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor job sites to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with codes.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Perform job costing and prepare change orders as necessary.
• Conduct pre-construction and progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and permits.
• Supervise site foremen and ensure productivity and performance.
• Handle project close-out procedures including final inspections and punch lists.
