The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of paving experience, strong operator skills, and a commitment to safety best practices on outdoor construction sites. The position may require day, night, or weekend shifts in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating a concrete paver on heavy highway or concrete paving projects.
• Strong general operator skills with knowledge of paver functions and maintenance.
• Experience with other heavy equipment (backhoes, loaders, or dozers) is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors and endure demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the concrete paver safely and efficiently throughout the project.
• Monitor paving operations for quality, consistency, and compliance with specs.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report issues.
• Communicate effectively with crew, foreman, and supervisors.
• Adapt to site activity to maintain safety and efficiency.
