Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Concrete Paving Machine Operator (Paver) for North Texas projects. The role involves safe operation of the paving machine that lays asphaltic concrete, controlling width and screed adjustments.

You will perform daily maintenance and support the paving crew with site prep and related tasks. Responsibilities include safety meetings, weather-resilient work schedules, and duties as assigned to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating asphalt equipment.
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Operate paving equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist paving crew with site preparation and other activities as needed.
• Contribute as a team member to Austin's success.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work days, nights and weekends as project needs require.
• Work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.
