Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an experienced Concrete Paver Operator to join our field team in Texas. The role involves navigating and operating concrete paving equipment, aligning deck paths, and coordinating with ground crew to maintain a consistent material flow.

Extensive rigging knowledge and Trimble GPS experience are essential, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include operating Gomaco/Wirtgen pavement equipment, ensuring quality pavement, and performing routine

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Portland Cement Concrete Paving Operations specifically with Stringless Paving and Gomaco/Wirtgen Paving Equipment.
• GPS (Trimble Experience) required for guiding and controlling paving operations.
• Ability to read and apply craft-related mathematics and safety standards relevant to rigging and paving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Navigate, maneuver, and run the concrete paver; ensure deck path and grade alignment with ground crew instructions.
• Operate paving machines to push dump trucks and maintain steady material flow into hoppers or screeds.
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair paving equipment; set up and tear down equipment as needed.
• Coordinate truck dumping and drive machines onto trailers or move equipment between job sites as licensed.
