Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Regular Part-time Technical lab assistant to support pavement materials testing and R&D activities in a state-of-the-art asphalt lab. The role involves hands-on testing and data documentation.

You will lift 50 lbs regularly, assist with equipment calibration, and work in a deadline-driven environment alongside the Pavement Services Team.

HS Diploma or Trade School and a valid driver's license are required; construction or asphalt plant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory testing of soil, asphalt, concrete, and aggregate materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, TDOT, and project-specific requirements.
• Pick up and transport samples in accordance with applicable procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Document and report test results; assist with equipment maintenance and calibration.
• This role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs or more on a regular basis.
