Job summary

Pavement Recycling Systems Inc is seeking a Lab Technician to support testing and quality assurance for materials used in pavement projects.

Responsibilities include receiving and testing aggregates, soils, asphalt mixtures, and emulsions, recording results, and maintaining data integrity. Candidates should have engineering training, lab experience, and familiarity with ASTM/AASHTO methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
• 1–3 years of field and/or laboratory experience.
• Slurry Seal mix design experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT methods required.
• Proficient in construction software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receives and safely stores materials for testing.
• Performs lab testing of aggregates, soils, asphalt concrete, slurry seals, and microsurfacing.
• Records test results and reports.
• Organizes data per laboratory policy.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas.
• Performs equipment maintenance and records.
• Edits and updates test procedures as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
