The role requires ability to lift up to 70 pounds, pass background and drug checks, and wear required safety gear. CDL Class B within 60 days is requested; DOT requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL Class B within 60 days if not already held.
• Must pass background check and drug test per DOT requirements.
• Must wear safety gear and follow safety rules at all times.
• ATSSA Pavement Marking intermediate training may be required by state.
• Knowledge of state/local roadways and ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate pavement marking equipment to apply paint, thermoplastic, and related materials.
• Prepare work areas, transport materials, and drive company trucks between sites.
• Implement striping plans and perform layout, including intersection markings.
• Lift, carry, load, and unload pavement marking supplies and signs.
• Use hand grinders to remove old lines; install, remove, and reset delineators and posts.
• Cut, lay out, and install heat tape; apply/remove reflective tape.
• Maintain and repair pavement marking equipment and perform shop tasks.
• Communicate with contractors and field inspectors; complete daily paperwork.
