Job summary

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, Bureau of Traffic, is seeking a Pavement Marking Foreman I to supervise and coordinate crews and contractors performing highway maintenance and related tasks around the clock.

The position requires a CDL-B license, at least 3 years of education/experience or equivalent, and the ability to perform heavy physical work in all weather, with safety and regulatory compliance a priority.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: 3 years after high school, combination of education and experience in civil technology, public works, highway maintenance, or general construction.
• CDL-B with appropriate endorsements must be possessed at hire.
• MVR must meet agency standards and a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with hiring and training patrol crews and equipment operators.
• Inspects tasks for quality, safety, and timely completion, ensuring proper use of resources.
• Maintains records on staffing, time/attendance, and input data for reporting.
