Job summary

The role supports supervision of patrol crews and contractors, coordinating assignments and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The position requires a valid CDL-B with endorsements, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising highway maintenance crews and contractors.
• Ability to coordinate assignments across crews and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to work 24/7/365 in all seasons and weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs intermittently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring and training patrol crews and operators.
• Inspect tasks for quality, safety, and resource use.
• Maintain records including time/attendance and equipment usage.
• Supervise crews in Foreman’s absence to ensure continuity.
• Respond to winter maintenance and traffic emergencies as needed.
