Job summary

Cherokee Federal, onsite at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, seeks a Pavement Inspector to conduct pavement-condition assessments, collect and validate data, and translate AMP strategies into localized maintenance plans. The role requires CAC access and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance, with work coordinating with CES flights and base stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing annual maintenance schedules, identifying urgent pavement failures, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Pavement-inspection certification from an accredited institution in the United States.
• Minimum five years of pavement-inspection experience.
• Minimum three years of military facility or infrastructure experience.
• CAC requirement and ability to pass a DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pavement condition assessments, including Pavement Condition Index surveys.
• Collect, validate, and update pavement data in PAVER SMS.
• Maintain pavement-condition assessment records and database updates.
• Translate TNAP AMP lifecycle strategies into localized preventive-maintenance plans.
• Develop annual pavement preventive-maintenance schedules aligned with pavement degradation curves.
• Identify emergent pavement failures and prepare repair work orders.
• Provide immediate notifications of pavement risks affecting installation operations.
• Coordinate with CES flights and stakeholders supporting infrastructure maintenance and project execution.
