Job summary

The Cherokee Federal team at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, onsite, seeks a Pavement Inspector to deliver tactical pavement expertise. A CAC and DoD background clearance are required to support installation operations and maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include conducting pavement-condition assessments, updating PAVER SMS data, and translating TNAP AMP strategies into localized maintenance plans for the base. Experience with military infrastructure is preferred.

Qualifications

• CAC is required and the ability to pass a DoD clearance is required.
• Prolonged sitting at a desk and computer use may be required.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pavement condition assessments, including Pavement Condition Index surveys.
• Collect, validate, and update pavement data in PAVER SMS.
• Maintain pavement-condition assessment records and database updates.
• Translate TNAP AMP lifecycle strategies into localized preventive-maintenance plans.
• Develop annual pavement preventive-maintenance schedules aligned with pavement degradation curves.
• Identify emergent pavement failures and prepare repair work orders.
• Provide immediate notifications of pavement risks affecting installation operations.
• Coordinate with CES flights and stakeholders supporting infrastructure maintenance and project execution.
