Job summary

IntrepidGS is seeking a Pavement Sub-Amp Manager to oversee inspection, maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of airfield pavements and surrounding roadways. This role ensures the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of runways, taxiways, and supporting infrastructure at an overseas air base.

The ideal candidate has eight years of paving experience, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive paving experience on military airfields or aviation pavements.
• Familiarity with airfield pavement standards and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of pavement inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document pavement conditions and distresses.
• Assist with paving repairs, patching, and surface treatments.
• Coordinate with airfield operations to minimize mission disruption.
• Assist with layout, marking, and measurement tasks for repairs.
• Maintain and operate tools and testing devices used in pavement work.
