Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred; supplemented by one year of work experience in customer service; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
• Official transcripts may be required at time of employment for degrees used to qualify.
• Must learn and apply county or departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to patrons and the public at the library.
• Staffs circulation desk, checks materials in/out, handles fines and holds.
• Reserves materials, assists with self-check machines and databases.
• Assists with voter registration information and library services as needed.
• Maintains supplies and assists with collection maintenance activities.
