Job summary

Jefferson County Public Library seeks a customer-focused Patron Experience Associate for the Evergreen Library. This part-time role (20 hours/week) delivers frontline service, helps patrons find materials, and supports programs and resources in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience; public library service is preferred. Benefits and a union environment are included. Some evenings and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service to library patrons in person, by phone, mail, and online.
• Assist patrons with locating information and resources, including digital materials.
• Promote programs and services; assist with reader’s advisory and instruction on library resources.
• Support collection maintenance and basic data reporting as needed.
