Job summary

Colorado 911 Resource Center, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Library Associate to enhance patron experience at the Englewood location. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, assisting with circulation, and guiding patrons with resources and technology.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of customer service experience, with preference for library or bookstore settings. Evening/weekend hours may apply, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field required.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Public library and/or bookstore experience preferred.
• Experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily circulation services, including issuing new cards and checking materials in/out using Sierra.
• Provide library information, technology assistance, referrals, and reader’s advisory guidance in person, by phone, or email.
• Use strong customer service and reference-interview skills to assess patron needs and respond appropriately.
• Promote an inclusive, welcoming environment and uphold library values.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and maintain desk operations.
