Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Patrol Operations Specialist in Irving, TX. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour. Schedule includes Daytime and Night shifts.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in security-related roles are required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including public areas, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with site-specific requirements.
