Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer in Irving, TX. This full-time, unarmed role involves patrolling the facility, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service.

You’ll help deter incidents and support the Allied Universal team with clear communication. The position requires at least one year of security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Experience with access control and badges preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and report observations using procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and activity of visitors, employees, and deliveries.
• Deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage with a visible presence.
