Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) in Irving, TX to serve clients across tech/media/telecom sectors. You will patrol, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will document observations with our technology, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site contacts and responders. Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals per procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, first responders, and leadership regarding incidents and needs.
