Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Coordination in Waukee, IA to safeguard clients across diverse tech locations. This unarmed role conducts patrols, monitors access points, and delivers excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualified applicants will have a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. The position offers full-time evening shifts and opportunities for career growth within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors on a technology-focused site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures; report irregularities and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and following established protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.
