Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Waukee, IA. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while upholding site policies.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a part-time night schedule. Experience with alarm panels and computer/tablet use is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, a background check, and drug screening per policy.
• Guard Card/License preferred and alarm panel experience are desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused corporate location while following site policies and responding to security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking facilities, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report access-control concerns to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following site protocols and documenting observations and actions.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused corporate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, patrol findings, and operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
