Qualifications

• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors on a technology-focused site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures; report irregularities and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and following established protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
