Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control in Chesapeake, VA. You will protect clients across industries, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service with integrity.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting activities, and escalating concerns per site procedures. Minimum requirements include high school diploma and background check, with preferred CPR certification and guard license.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the technology-focused facility including exterior areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Prepare detailed daily activity reports and communicate observations to site leadership.
