Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned government facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established protocols.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document observations and patrol activities.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, in accordance with laws and policies.
