Job summary

Allied Universal in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to monitor the facility, assist clients and employees, and deter incidents. You will patrol, manage access points, and document observations.

The role favors customer service experience, badge/access control familiarity, and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required; you must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles).

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, controlled manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, driver, and delivery activity per site requirements.
• Document observations and communicate findings to site leadership.
