Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Visit Coordinator to support clinical teams with front office operations, scheduling, registration, and patient flow.

You will manage pre-registration, determine financial eligibility, and coordinate registration tasks across the clinic. Responsibilities include patient check-in/out, data entry into EMR, handling co-pays, and assisting patients with enrollment applications while maintaining confidentiality and professional, courteous

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to read, write, understand and spell English and medical terminology correctly.
• Excellent people skills and customer service orientation.
• Basic Computer or keyboarding skills; typing 35 WPM or above.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients, ensuring clinician availability and efficient use of clinical hours.
• Check in: greet patients, collect demographics and payments, obtain signatures for records.
• Check out: balance cash, process transactions, and handle follow-up communications as needed.
• Maintain EMR patient records and ensure accuracy of chart status and documentation.
• Assist patients with enrollment applications and follow up on pending enrollments.
