CHI Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Transporter to provide essential patient movement across the campus, ensuring safety and a seamless patient experience. You will transport inpatients and outpatients, verify identifications, greet and assist during transfers, and monitor patient condition during transport.

You will also assist with positioning, operate lift systems, and maintain clean, organized work areas while reporting any equipment issues.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AHA BLS within 30 days.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Transports patients safely to the imaging department.
• Transports patients back to their rooms after examination and ensures devices are reconnected.
• Assists technologists in positioning and moving patients using lift systems.
• Documents initials on requisition with patient identifiers, oxygen levels and connected devices.
• Maintains clean linen supply, monitors blanket warmer and restocks scrubs.
• Disinfects gurneys and wheelchairs; stores equipment properly when not in use.
