Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Patient Transport team member to move patients and equipment safely across the Medical Center. The role includes assisting with patient-related tasks and maintaining equipment PAR levels, while coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

You'll use Epic software to monitor patient locations and equipment movement, supporting hospital operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center.
• Performs various patient-related activities as assigned.
• Maintains PAR levels for equipment across locations in the Medical Center.
• Uses Epic software to track each patient’s location as they travel to designated areas.
• Uses Epic software to track equipment movement throughout the facility.
