Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, equipment and supplies throughout the Medical Center using stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, and other transport equipment.
• Assists in lifting or placing patients onto/off transport conveyance, ensures correct patient ID and maintains patient dignity and privacy.
• Maintains cleanliness of stretchers and transport equipment.
• Transports and locates equipment, specimens, and supplies to designated areas.
