Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Monitors IVs, pumps, monitors, and other devices for safety.
• Transports specimens and equipment as assigned.
• Maintains isolation precautions and protective requirements.
• Observe patient comfort, safety, and status during transport.
• Relays critical information to staff on entry/return.
• Handles patient-related clerical and non-clinical tasks as needed.
• Ensures availability of transport supplies and equipment.
