Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in a patient care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Maintains awareness of isolation precautions and protective requirements.
• Moves patients and documents status and trip requests with staff.
• Reports equipment or patient problems to nurses or supervisors.
• Performs non-clinical tasks including clerical support and transport.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available and well-maintained.
• Follows dispatch priorities and performs duties within department guidance.
