Responsibilities

• Transports or escorts patients and families to support timely testing, transfer between units, or discharge.
• Assists with safe handling and movement of patients and belongings using correct equipment.
• Documents activities according to policy and procedure.
• Provides directions and assistance to patients, families, and staff.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and safe environment in patient transport areas.
• Adheres to HIPAA, infection control, and safety policies.
