Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 180 days of hire.
• Ability to provide high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely and timely as directed by clinical staff.
• Participates in transportation planning and initiative meetings.
• Supports patient throughput and hospital capacity using transport software.
• Coordinates activities in the discharged patient holding area.
• Handles portable oxygen cylinders safely and transports equipment as needed.
• Documents transportation assignments and maintains equipment inventory.
