Responsibilities

• Transports patients, charts, specimens, equipment, and supplies between hospital areas.
• Delivers patient equipment and supplies, exchanges gas tanks as needed.
• Handles transport of blood and specimens on Stat and routine bases.
• Follows direction from Transport Supervisor or designee.
• Ensures stretchers and wheelchairs are stored after use and disinfected as required.
