Job summary

Valley Health System in the United States is seeking a Patient Transport Team Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure safe patient movement, and uphold department policies. This role reports to the PATIENT TRANSPORT Team and oversees scheduling, staff training, and quality assurance.

Two years of healthcare transport experience and supervisory skills are preferred. Candidates should have strong communication, the ability to manage personnel and budgets, and a commitment to compassionate

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to lead and direct a large group of employees required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and assignments required.
• Two years healthcare/patient transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transport requests and staff scheduling while ensuring policy compliance.
• Coach and train team members on department policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments and act as a liaison for the Transport Team.
• Monitor performance metrics and department budgets.
• Oversee inventory, equipment use, and quality assurance checks.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
