Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Patient Transport Supervisor to lead the Lift and Transport Team, oversee daily operations, and ensure safe patient movement across the facility.

Reporting to the Capacity Manager, you will coordinate training, timekeeping, and assignment prioritization to support efficient throughput and high-quality patient care. Proficiency in Epic transport systems and English communication are required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Orange County.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must be proficient in Epic transport systems.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Minimum one year experience in a healthcare environment or training in a healthcare/emergency/rescue field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lift and Transport Team and coordinate patient handling.
• Ensure safe patient throughput and minimize delays.
• Oversee training, timekeeping, and performance counseling.
