Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the transportation department including logistics.
• Allocate transport shift activity, ensuring appropriate staff are available.
• Ensure facility vehicles are in proper repair at all times and report concerns.
• Coordinate daily and on-call schedules to meet patient transportation needs.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance schedules and logs.
• Drive facility vehicle to pick up supplies and equipment as needed.
• Provide safe transportation in line with regulatory standards.
• Hire, orient, train, and supervise transportation staff if applicable.
